A carnival told in cloth — bunting that follows a circus from act to act and finishes at the big top. Beige panels are screen-printed; the red panels are hand-embroidered so the stitch work stands proud where print alone would fall flat.

Watercolour studies of tents, signs and carousels worked up into a finished run of bunting — each flag a different act in the show.

The beige flags were screen-printed; the red flags hand-embroidered, because the stitch caught the light on the red far better than the print ever did.
Strung end to end, the bunting reads like a programme — performer after performer, leading the eye all the way to the tent.
